Rest can feel uncomfortable when being busy has become a measure of worth. Yet a life of intention needs space for renewal as well as effort.
Notice what restores you
Scrolling and resting do not always leave us feeling the same. Notice which activities help you feel present: a walk, a quiet meal, reading, or an unhurried conversation.
Give the day a boundary
Choose a small stopping point. Close the laptop, move tomorrow’s tasks onto a list, and allow one part of the day to remain unfinished until morning.
What would enough look like for today?
Consider one gentle boundary you can practice this week. Rest is easier to return to when it has a place in your routine.
